YOU’RE INVITED
FROM SAP TO SYRUP—STORIES ABOUND!
Join us at the Vermont Folklife Center on February 19 from 2-4 pm for an intimate afternoon exploring the time-honored Vermont tradition of maple sugaring. VFC folklorists will lead a story-telling stage that will bring together local maple sugar producers to share their tales from the sugarbush to the sugarhouse.
Visitors are also invited to share their own stories of Vermont’s sweet indulgence in the VFC’s recording studio (check our Website for advanced registration for recording times). www.vermontfolklifecenter.org
Tasty maple treats from local producers will also be served.
Whether you are a seasoned sugarmaker, or simply want to join in on the memories that have risen from the tradition like steam from the evaporator, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
